Are you an aspiring young presenter from Wisbech? Would you like the chance to be on stage at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London, standing alongside Sir Lenny Henry? On the 3rd July Business in the Community is holding their annual Responsible Business Awards, in partnership with Anglian Water, the 2017 Responsible Business of the Year. We are looking to find up to three talented young presenters to bring Wisbech’s story to London and act as co-hosts for the evening.

Not only will you win the opportunity to present the awards with Sir Lenny Henry on the night but you will also receive bespoke training to help you on your way to refine your skills, travel and overnight stay in London for yourself and a guardian if required, a contribution towards an outfit for the event and a video package of the evening to take home with you.

Business in the Community (BITC) is The Prince’s Responsible Business Network that aims to build healthy communities with successful businesses at their heart. Each year they hold the Responsible Business Awards to celebrate the best in responsible business and reinforce the role of business in society. We want to entertain and inspire the audience to think about the Great Expectations we all have of each other, of society and of business. This competition provides a platform for you to showcase your talent as a young presenter.

Why Wisbech?

We have been involved with Wisbech since 2012 where we committed to making a difference to various aspects of the town including the community, environment and education and skills. This has evolved over the years and Wisbech is now one of the main focus points of the entire awards night to demonstrate that when a business shows commitment and pride in a specific place, then long lasting positive change can be made. We want to bring Wisbech’s story to London!
