Pouring used oil down the sink causes blockages in our sewers which can lead to pollution incidents.

We clear thousands of blockages like these every year and the problem costs millions. In Norfolk we’re working with Norwich City Council, South Norfolk Council and Living Fuels to provide oil recycling bins at household recycling sites in the area. You can’t miss them – they’re bright orange!

The oil is converted into fuel to produce renewable energy for our region. Watch our video to find out more and then bring your used oil, in a plastic bottle, to one of the bins – you’ll be helping keep the sewers clear and contributing towards renewable energy generation as well.
