For the past 12 months we’ve been extremely proud to hold the title of Responsible Business of the Year. One of the most important community projects we have been involved in in recent years is a partnership in Wisbech in Cambridgeshire to bring jobs, skills and new investment to a town which has not always enjoyed the prosperity of other parts of our region. Last night we took the story of Wisbech – and everything that has been achieved there thanks to a fantastic partnership of people, agencies and business – to the Royal Albert Hall for the Responsible Business of the Year Gala. We co-hosted the event with the Prince of Wales’ Business in the Community initiative and passed on the responsible business baton to Lloyds Banking Group – a huge congratulations to them.

We would like to say a big thank you to the organisations we have, and will continue, to work with in Wisbech including the Ferry Project, Fenland District Council, Barhale and our other Alliance partners, the College of West Anglia, Cambridgeshire County Council, Tescos and many others. But most of all, thank you to the people of Wisbech – you have inspired us every step of the way.
